David Wells 來西雅圖的機會微乎其微，水兵對他完全沒有興趣，
先前傳出有興趣的響尾蛇，目前也表示了低度意願，老威的經紀人
說他考慮加入的球隊有響尾蛇、道奇以及大都會，基本上就是想要
留在國聯。

關於補進 Wells，麥拉倫說：

"With four left-handers in the bullpen, the team has a need
for a right-handed "innings eater."

（我覺得他的說法有點怪，Wells 來的話是要擔任先發工作，他卻
說牛棚左投已經足夠，是球隊左投總量管制嘛？）

"We're looking for one," he said. "We've been on the waiver
wire every day seeing if anything is out there."

依他所言後續可能還會有新動作。

waiver 名單上還有誰是堪用的吃局數投手啊？
