Federer said that Murray had been a serious rival for at least a year now and
agreed that he "had a shot" at becoming No. 1.

在發言時機上 我個人的解讀是
Federer可能被問到覺得Murray今年有沒有機會挑戰世界第一
所以Federer給了這個答案 他覺得可以 但希望他拿了大滿貫再說
我個人覺得也許他沒有那句"not like the women's side"就不會激怒Jankovic
最下面那段"No disrespect to Jankovic"
也許是他講完"不像女網那樣"之後發現自己講太快了 想要補救
這是我個人的情境解讀
我覺得很多運動員發言是蠻直率的 就想到什麼就講了
應該不至於是批評 但是可能會誤踩到別人的痛腳
其實Jankovic壓力也蠻大的 去年年底的時候他拿到ITF世界冠軍獎
被討論了一輪"為什麼是他"
去年很多球評年終的評論都不利於他
有一個網站Tennis Reporters 投票成員是包括網球界的記者與球迷
投出來的player of the year 大威居然票數是JJ的1.5倍
Bodo.Austin.Wertheim這幾位老牌的網球評論員也不站在他這邊
而且從之前Kim跟momo的言論(這兩位都是沒拿過大滿貫就當世界第一了)
也不難發現當無冕球后其實面對的輿論壓力是蠻大的
JJ這幾個月真的是被這個問題搞到快煩死了
這是一月初他在香港的回應
When asked which status she would have chosen, the US Open runner-up is
unequivocal.
"I would have taken the No. 1 ranking; especially finishing the year as the
No. 1 player in the world is really a huge achievement," she said. "Winning a
grand slam is also a great result, but it's only being the best for two

當被問到要拿世界第一還是拿大滿貫的時候 他說
"我會選世界第一 特別是年終第一 拿到大滿貫也是很偉大的成就
但這只是在兩周內做最好的選手 但是世界第一是在全年你整體戰績比其他選手好"
這是他澳網期間的回應
"I don't really have to prove anything to anybody," she fired back yesterday.
"I'm the number one player in the world and I believe I'm the best one. I
feel as I'm the number one player in the world."
"Everybody has, you know, their own confidence and the belief in themselves.
I don't think you could be successful if you think somebody else is better
than you and you're not good enough to be here."
我覺得我沒必要對任何人證明什麼 我是世界第一 我也相信我是最好的選手
每個人都有屬於他們的自信 如果你相信別人比你好的話 那我想你會很難成功
你也沒有好到值得站在這裡
其實蠻可憐的耶 一直被追著問這個問題
我已經覺得他的回應EQ蠻高的了
這個禮拜他已經不是世界第一了
但是還是被問到這個問題
那就像是陳幸妤之前大吼
"我爸已經不當總統了 我做錯什麼為什麼你們還天天跟著我"
啊都已經不是世界第一了 還要一直被問自己值不值得
當第一的時候沒得到多少好評 不當第一了還要被追問
我覺得Federer也只是剛好被Jankovic掃到
畢竟質疑他的人這麼多 他總不能罵記者吧 (他又不知道是誰)
但是Federer是很清晰的目標 是最近剛對他評論的人so...
