Del Potro因為臀部疼痛，經過醫生診斷後決定退賽，這疼痛是上週就有的。

“I am not in a condition to play today," said del Potro. "I woke up with a
lot of pain and I talked with the doctor and did a test to see how I was
feeling."

“I just think that I’m not in a good condition to play and I’m sorry for
the tournament, for the people, for Rafa,” del Potro said. “I want to play
as soon as I can and it would be a very nice match for me to play today. I
really feel sad for that. It’s a nice tournament, nice people here, nice
fans but I can’t.”

“The pain started last week in Estoril between the semi-final and final and
it’s getting worse day by day and I really felt too much pain today, so that
’s my reason for not playing.”

下週羅馬也退出，不過法網前還有一站Nice。

另外Bellucci第一次打進Masters 1000的八強，也是第一次打贏Top 5選手。

"I had to be solid, but at the same time, play aggressively, without letting
him take all the control in the match," evaluated Bellucci.

"He managed to play and serve well. My serve was very helpful and I think I
played a good game and made him feel a bit uncomfortable playing against me
because of my forehand and my serve as well. I think the key was to miss very
few shots on the court and play the important points well."
