'No Conversations' Between Blazers And Nets On Randolph

Rod Thorn reiterated that the Nets have had “no conversations” with the
Blazers regarding power forward Zach Randolph, who has a low post offense the
Nets could sorely use (but he plays little defense).

Another league source said a deal for Randolph that could involve Richard
Jefferson is not completely far-fetched, although he terms it as having a “
long, long shot” of getting done. “I would say the Nets’ interest is at a
small percentage at best,” the source said.
