Murray outguns Henman once again
Andy Murray claimed his second win in a week over Tim Henman to set up a
clash with world number one Roger Federer at the Cincinnati Masters.
Murray reached the final in Washington and the semis last week in Toronto,
where he beat Henman along the way.
But it was Henman who started stronger, taking the first set 6-4 before
Murray took the second by the same score.
Henman was a break up in the decider but Murray broke back twice to
complete a 4-6 6-4 7-5 victory.
Murray has now won all three of his encounters and said that Henman's
style of play suited his game.

"Tim likes to come into the net and my passing shots are the best part of my
game," said Murray.
But the Scot added that he felt he had not played his best tennis in the
match.
"Physically I'm starting to get a bit tired. It was an early start for me and
I'd asked to play later in the day," he said.
"But this is a massive series and now I've got a chance to play against Roger
Federer."
Henman was full of praise for Murray's game.
"It's improving, there's no question," he said.
"I think there are areas that he will keep improving, which is obviously
exciting because he's 21st in the world right now and he's going to get
better and better."
Greg Rusedski slumped to a seventh consecutive defeat as he lost 6-3 6-4
to fourth seed Ivan Ljubicic.
Rusedski's last win came against Italy's Stefano Galvani in round two of
the Rome Masters in mid-May.
Ljubicic took the opening set and then broke Rusedski in the ninth game
of the second set and served out for victory.
But Rusedski says he will take heart from his improving fitness despite
the defeat.
"The body feels good," he said.
"I think I'm improving every week, so that's the main positive for me at the
moment.
"This week it would have been nicer to have a little easier draw, but I felt
like I played pretty well."
