MLB》拉米瑞茲賤賣生涯給守護者 語出驚人:1億和2億是一樣的

一張5年延長合約,這代表他直到36歲時才會再次投身自由市場,細數他過去幾年的表現
,6年來4度進入季末MVP票選,可以說是具有一定程度的身價,但他卻只和球隊簽下一張
平均年薪僅有2480萬美元的合約,被外界認為是相當佛心;對此,拉米瑞茲本人日前受訪
時也語出驚人,表示「1億和2億是一樣的」,但還是想在守護者完成職業生涯。
拉米瑞茲自從2017年以來,不包含今年的5個賽季,一共4度入選美聯MVP票選前6名、3度
拿下美聯銀棒獎,本季打了22場比賽,繳出3成41打擊率、7轟、28分打點的成績單,暫居
美聯打點王,生涯正要開始走上坡,但沒想到他卻在這個時候和守護者簽下一張5年1.24
億美元延長合約,包含他原本剩餘的2年約,總值來到7年1.41億美元。
拉米瑞茲被外界認為可以簽下更優渥的合約,但他卻選擇賤賣自己,對此,他最近受訪就
說:「儘管我知道我在市場的價值,高於他們給我的數字,但我還是想在克里夫蘭完成我
的職業生涯。」
拉米瑞茲繼續說:「忠誠對我來說很重要,在克里夫蘭,我一直受到很好的待遇,關於續
約,對我來說,1億美元和2億美元是一樣的,有些東西比錢更有價值,我在這支球隊中感
到很開心。」他也提到自己未來目標,除了要拿下美聯MVP外,還要替球隊拿下世界大賽
冠軍。
