LAS VEGAS — In the lead-up to the NBA Finals last month, Mike Brown avoided
any revenge talk, saying that a date with the Cavaliers, a franchise that
fired him twice, wasn’t any extra motivation.
在上個月跟騎士打總冠軍賽的那段時間，Mike Brown避免提到有關"復仇"的言論，雖然騎
士開除過他兩次，但是那並不會讓他有額外的動力想打敗騎士。
But a month later — speaking for the first time publicly on the Warriors
All-82 podcast from summer league in Las Vegas — Brown finally admitted that
taking down that specific Eastern Conference franchise in the NBA Finals made
the title that much sweeter. But his reason may be a bit different than you’
d expect.
但是一個月後，Mike Brown接受訪問，第一次公開的承認，「打敗騎士就是爽」，但是理
由並不是大家想的那樣。
“What made it sweet is — my youngest son goes to school (in Cleveland) at
Case Western Reserve,” Brown said. “Plays football there. He sports the
Warriors gear like it’s no other and he gets a ton of grief not only from
his buddies, his teammates, people on campus, but his friends from growing up
and people all over Cleveland because that’s what he wears on a daily basis.
So to know I had that connection, I had buddies that were hitting me before
the series, even did a little spoof with one of my neighbors from back in the
day. To go through all that, to see all my friends and people back there when
I went. Yes, it was a little sweeter just because of the connections.”
「爽的原因是，我的小兒子念Cleveland的學校，」Mike Brown說，「他在那邊踢足球。他
整天，每天，穿著勇士的服裝，沒有在管別人的眼光，穿著到學校。所以，他被他的好朋
