“I’m still unathletic,so the infection didn’t affect me much.
I’m still the same, that’s good.”
「我依舊沒什麼活動力，所以染疫並沒有影響到我，我還是跟以前一樣，這很好」
當記者問到感染COVID-19的經歷與回到球場上所遭遇的困境時
Marc Gasol便認真的談起他這一個月所經歷回憶
“ It got me pretty good for five, six days. I was down, couldn’t move much.
The biggest symptoms, or the worst symptoms for me, were the headaches,
difficulty breathing, especially when you try to move, you try to go upstairs.
That’s when I realized how hard it was and how it was impacting my body and
body aches, the fever and all that.”
「我被它影響了五、六天，我被擊倒了、不太能行動，對我來說，最大、或者說最糟的
症狀是頭痛，我呼吸困難，特別是想要移動身體時，當我試著上樓時，我才了解到這是
件很困難的事、同時我也了解病毒如何影響我的身體，我身體痛、發燒...之類的」
“The loss of taste and smell, those happened, too. I’m slowly getting them
back. It’s not only about you and how you deal with it. It’s who you pass
it on to. Sadly, it went around the house, too. So, it’s nothing to play
around with. It’s something very serious.”
「失去味覺與嗅覺也發生了，我正慢慢地找回他們，這件事並不是我一個人的事，並不
只是我如何對付它，它還會傳染給他人。不幸的，它在家裡擴散開來。所以這不是件可
以隨便應付的事，這是件非常嚴重的事。」
“First couple of days it didn’t really affect me yet. I didn’t have any
symptoms. I had a little bit of headaches, but I’m like, ‘Well, hopefully
I’m going to be pretty much asymptomatic.’And then when it hits you, it
hits you really hard — at least for me. I just thought of my kids at that
point. I didn’t want them to go through that. I didn’t want my wife to have
to go through that. So, that’s why I worried about it the most.”
「在最初的幾天，它還沒真正的影響到我，我沒有任何症狀，只有一點頭痛。那時我
就想著『希望我是無症狀感染』，但是當它真正發作時，它給了我重重的一擊，至
少我是這樣。那一刻我想到了我的小孩，我不想要我的孩子與太太經歷相同的事，這
也是為什麼為對這件事感到憂心忡忡」
“I wear the mask every day. I keep my distance with everyone. Even doing all
the right things, you still can get it and that’s what happened to me. You
deal with it, stay in the moment, try to get a little bit better every day
and like I say, it’s about being as responsible as possible given the
circumstances.”
「我每天都戴口罩、保持社交距離。即使做對了每一件事情，你仍然有可能染疫，這就
發生在我身上，好好面對它、保持冷靜、每天進步一點。就像我說的，在目前的情況下
