有稍微注意Bumgarner的人都知道他是一個鄉村出身的人,球季結束後牧牛是他的興趣之一.
前一陣子Arizona的一個馬術場Rancho Rio在他們的FB上貼了這一篇文:

眼尖的人從照片中一看就會發現高大的Mason Saunders長得跟Bumgarner一模一樣. 當
Bumgarner被Athletic記者Andrew Baggarly問到時,當場承認Mason Saunders就是他的化
名.

巨人隊的小聯盟球隊San Jose Giants也馬上發推文,在六月五號推出Mason Saunders之
夜,球場中將會買烤肉跟其他牛仔有關的紀念商品.
