Did you manage to relax and enjoy some time off?
"It was tough the first week after the Fed Cup final, as I had a lot of media
duties, photo shoots and official dates with some VIPs, sponsors and even
with the Czech Prime Minister. The following week I was with my boyfriend,
Adam, for his last tournament of the season, as "his coach" - he was with me
as a coach in Linz, where I won. He made the semifinals and jumped more than
400 places in the rankings - now under 1000 - so we have had good success
"coaching" each other! And last week we went for a short relaxing holiday in
an Austrian spa because I did not want to even hear about flying anywhere."
賽季結束後一週有很多媒體訪問,拍照,和贊助商甚至捷克總理見面等,非常忙碌。
之後一週跟著小男友比賽,當他的"教練",打進四強,所以互相"指導"的成績都非常不錯
接著到奧地利去度假了一週。
What is your daily regimen in the off-season?
"After an awards event on November 27, I left for new season preparation in
the mountains, High Tatras in Slovakia, where we started on Sunday morning
with high altitude training - climbing, running, gym, massage, stretching and
so on. It means starting every morning and finishing late afternoon and after
dinner I just fall into bed to relax and sleep, so I can be ready to start
again the next morning with the same routine. My whole body suffers, but I
like it."
11月底她就到斯洛伐克的High Tatras去作高山訓練,爬山、跑步、健身房等加強體能
訓練過程辛苦,不過她很喜歡。
What activities, aside from tennis, have you been doing?
"I didn't touch my racquets until recently, when we started combining high
altitude preparation with feeling of new racquet and balls. We are also
playing a lot of different games like basketball, volleyball, soccer tennis -
a special game where a small ball is played over a low net by legs, feet and
head."
直到最近才開始拿起球拍訓練,適應新球拍和球之類的,也作一些其他運動,像是籃球
排球、足網球等。
Are you working with the same fitness team this year?
"For sure - I follow the proverb 'Never change a winning team'!"
當然勝利方程式何必改變,今年的訓練的團隊仍繼續合作。
Why is pre-season training so important for a tennis player?
"It is a must, otherwise I would not survive the first three or four months
of the new season. I have to clear my head and feed the battery of my body!"
賽前訓練非常重要,不然沒辦法撐過新賽季的前三、四個月。
What are you most looking forward to about the 2012 season?
"To prove that I am able to play at a high level during the whole season,
with concentration on Wimbledon and the Olympics - the Olympics are something
special for me as you might have it only once in your lifetime. Plus I get to
play on grass twice in one month at the place I love so much!"
對新賽季的期待: 繼續證明自己能整季維持高檔,重心放在溫布頓和奧運,能參加奧運
機會難得,而且明年又是草地,可以一個月再那裡比賽兩次。
