THE TIMES THEY are a'changin, and Allen Iverson is leading the way.
The former Sixer showed up for last night's NBA All-Star Game sporting a new
look. Gone are the trademark cornrows, replaced by a non-flashy cut reminiscent
of when he first entered the league.
Iverson told NBA.com yesterday he was "ready for a change."
"Obama's the president now and it's all about change," joked Iverson.
Change is nothing new for Iverson, who played in his ninth All-Star Game last
night. He was traded last November to Detroit, where he is still trying to
fit in offensively.
"It's been tough, obviously, because I always had that offensive
responsibility my whole career," Iverson said. "So it's been a difference
adjustment for me . . . I'll just try to stay as positive as I can and when
my opportunity comes I'll try to take advantage of it."
