Finlay released from WWE after anthem incident

In a surprise move, WWE has released former Superstar and well-liked
producer Finlay yesterday according to the PWInsider.com website.

根據 PWInsider.com 的報導，昨天 WWE 令人驚訝的解僱了前摔角手且現任受人喜愛
的製片人 Finlay。


The incident that led to Finlay's departure happened during the weekend
at the live RAW brand event in Champaign, Illinois, where the Miz
interrupted the U.S. national anthem in the beginning of the show to do a
promo.

事件起因於周末在伊利諾州香檳市的 RAW 現場賽事，Miz 打斷了美國國歌的演奏。


Members of the U.S. National Guard were present at the live event and
were not happy at all about the situation. The National Guard is a major
sponsor for WWE and it's a big no-no to piss off entities that give you
money, especially if it's the military. Finlay was in charge of the show
and was the one who had to bite the bullet.

數名美國國民警衛隊的成員對這樣的情況相當不滿，國民警衛隊是 WWE 主要的贊助
商，這個行為是很大的禁忌，尤其是當軍方是付錢的老大的時候。

Finlay 是當天演出的負責人，所以他不得不付出代價。


The former WWE and WCW Superstar has been employed with the company since
2001 and worked closely with the Divas, taking charge of their division
among his other backstage duties.
