Justine pulled off another subtle coup in her long standing national rivalry
with Kim Clijsters by defeating her 6-3 7-5 6-1 at Eastbourne today. The 5x
grand slam champion will play Myskina on Saturday.

From Paris across the English channel to the white cliffs of Eastbourne, the
scenery maybe different, but the truth remains the same. Justine again
outplayed Kim Cljisters in another semi-final notching one match ahead in
their career head to head record. Less winds gave the players an opportunity
to treat the Eastbourne locals to an outstanding entertaining three set match.

The first set was all Justine, but as in their more competative matches
Clijsters roared into high flying mode at virtually unstoppable speed in the
second set as Justine shifted down gears. The crucial third set started with
Justine throwing the gauntlet to take the first game. The scoreline did not
reflect the length of points, many at deuces, that were duelled by both
players. It was from the crucial break of 3-1 that the match truly became all
about Justine's luster. She won the third set 6-1.
