Vlade Divac said Emmanuel Mudiay's refusal to workout or meet with
Sacramento was a factor in not drafting him.

Divac said Mudiay might be a great player, but with limited film of him
from China, an in-person meeting was vital.

Divac also said there issues aren't with Karl and Vivek, more he and Karl.
Didn't want to elaborate but I'm told he didn't like (cont.)
Karl going behind his back to negotiate deals.

Divac said he has a great amount of respect for Karl and wants to believe
he and Cousins can work together.

Vlade said he made the call to go with Willie Cauley-Stein and that even
Vivek didn't know who the pick was.

Divac also said Rudy Gay will play a lot of power forward this season.

Divac said a defensive small forward and point guard remain priorities
in the offseason.

Divac: "I respect my coach and I think he’s great but he has to trust me
to do my job. That’s all."

Divac: "A lot of guys think I'm a rookie and proposed some bad deals.
I'm no rookie. I've been around basketball all my life."

Divac said he spoke with DeMarcus Cousins 3 or 4 days ago.

Divac actually said Gay would play power forward "most of the time" next
season.
