The NBA has proposed changes to the regular season, including an in-season
tournament with incentives for the teams. Nothing is etched in stone yet, as
league, teams and the NBA Players' Association will still have to discuss
the details of the competition. However, while it's still in the early
stages, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has already aired his disapproval
about the proposal.

in-season season tournament and the incentives attached to it. He called the
proposal “dumb,” highlighting that it will change the entire landscape of
free agency recruitment, among other things.

Mavs boss and businessman, it doesn’t make sense to field him out there if
the team is going to get the 31st pick.
