The Atlanta Hawks will officially be welcoming legendary shooting guard Vince
Carter back for one more go-round atop the highest level in 2019-20. With
Carter slated to retire after spending his 22nd professional season as a
member of the Hawks, the longtime NBA two-guard is just happy to be able to
walk away from the game on his own terms.
老鷹開心的把傳奇後衛Vince Carter再簽一年下來，再戰2019-20球季。預期在打完他第22
年球季後就要退休的Carter，他很開心能夠按照他自己的方式，離開NBA。

“I never thought I’d be playing this long, for sure,” Carter recently told
CloseUp360.com. “I just felt it was time. I just thought it was time. I made
a decision. It’s something that I want to do. And the great thing for me is
that I’m able to walk away from the game on my terms.”

season.

“I’m good. I’ll pass,” Carter said of the possibility of encountering a
farewell tour next season, via CloseUp360.com. “It’s just not my thing. I
enjoy my time in the league and so on and so forth. I know it’s going to
happen. It is what it is, but it’s not something I’m seeking out.”

Carter has strung together quite the illustrious career on the court while it
appears as though the future Hall of Famer remains in line for a new career
in the studio following the 2019-20 campaign. It has already been reported
that Carter will quickly become a coveted NBA analyst once he hangs it up for
good.
