YOUNG Serbian tennis player Bojana Jovanovski has escaped unscathed from a
minor car accident en route to the Sydney International.

Jovanovski毫髮無傷地逃過車禍。

Tournament director Craig Watson said a vehicle ran a red light and collided
with the courtesy car carrying Jovanovski, her coach and Channel Seven
commentator Allan Stone.

車上載有Jovanovski跟她的教練，還有球評。

The accident occurred as Jovanovski's car was turning right off the M4
Freeway into Homebush Bay Drive about 10am AEDT.

Watson said police attended the scene, but no-one was hurt.

好險沒有人受傷。

He said medical care was offered to Jovanovski on site at the tennis, but the
20-year-old did not require any treatment.

The Australian Open has yet to even start, but already Jovanovski has had an
eventful summer down under.

The world No.72 was the player five-times Open champion Serena Williams
sprained her ankle against last week at the Brisbane International.

Jovanovski missed the main draw in Sydney after winning two qualifying
matches and losing in three sets to Swiss Stefanie Voegele.

This was not the first accident involving a WTA player in a tournament
courtesy car.

At the 2010 season-ending championships in Doha, a truck rammed into the side
of a vehicle carrying defending Australian Open champion Kim Clijsters on the
way to play Australian Samantha Stosur in the semi-finals.

這不是WTA球員所發生的第一起車禍，
2010年在多哈，Kim前往四強和Stosur比賽時也發生了車禍。
