Striker Rui Fonte may have returned to his parent club Sporting Lisbon
following the conclusion of his three-year loan spell in North London, but he
won’t be the only young Gunner to depart this summer.

Portugal U-21 international Amaury Bischoff sees his contract expire on June
30th and, judging by the tone of his latest interview, he is already
preparing for life elsewhere.

"I have a meeting this weekend with Arsène Wenger and Arsenal’s management
to discuss my future. What is certain is that I can do whatever I want
because I am free in a few days. I will consider all proposals that are
available to me.”

Bischoff has made just four first-team appearances, all as a substitute,
since joining Arsenal following his departure from Werder Bremen last summer.
His lack of opportunities is a key factor for his willingness to move,
especially if he wants to break into the senior Portugal squad, as he
explained

believes in me and told me himself, is that I need to play regular at club
level. So i will probably do that.”

Other players who are likely to leave in the summer include Paul Rodgers, Abu
Ogogo, Rene Steer and James Dunne, who all also see their contracts expire at
the end of next month.

Kerrea Gilbert, who has spent this season on loan at Leicester, is currently
undergoing treatment for a dislocated shoulder and could also depart along
with Vincent van den Berg, who is on trial at Sparta Rotterdam.
