Besiktas officially signs Oliver Lafayette

As expected, Oliver Lafayette (188-G-84, college: Houston) became a new
member of Besiktas. The Turkish outfit announced his signing today.

Oliver Lafayette heads to Besiktas from the NBA D-League team Fort Wayne
Mad Ants. He appeared 21 times for them averaging 16.4 points, 4.2 rebounds
and 3.6 assists.

Lafayette started the season with Partizan Belgrade, but they parted ways
in November. He tallied 8.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game
in Euroleague.

In Adriatic League Oliver Lafayette notched 10.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and
4.2 assists. Lafayette is expected to replace Allen Iverson on the roster.

Iverson got injured and is not expected to comeback until late March.

Besiktas currently has 10-7 record in TBL.
