Justine's returns to Germany for her Berlin quadruple. This year the reigning
Roland Garros champion is seeded #3, and in the top half of a very lopsided
draw. The creme de la creme upper half of the draw features rivals Amelie
Mauresmo, Elena Dementieva, Svetlana Kuznetsova, and Martina Hingis.

The World Cup is being held in Deutschland this year, but Justine has bigger
sights on her agenda. The Belgian heroine has won the German Open in 2002,
2003, and 2005. Can she win again on the Berlin center court named after her
idol Steffi Graf?

Justine has a bye this year in the first round, and will began her second
round assault on Wednesday against Italy's Mara Santangelo or WC Sabine
Lisicki. The Belgian 1 handed backhand virtuoso may then play her first seed
of the tournament, Russia's Maria Kirilenko, in the third round. The
quarterfinals could be another battle with Svetlana Kuznetsova. Justine may
also duel once more in the semi-final with Amelie Mauresmo, Elena Dementieva
or Martina Hingis; revenge works both ways in these matches.

The bottom half of the draw's biggest challanger is the highly improved Nadia
Petrova seeded at number 2. Other names up for the battles in Berlin are top
spin wizard Patty Schynder, Germany's own rising talent Anna-Lena Groenefeld,
Russian Dinara Safina, Daniela Hantuchova, and Ana Ivanovic.
