Julio Baptista has hailed Arsene Wenger as the best manager he has ever worked
with.

Brazil international Baptista experienced a year-long loan deal at Emirates
Stadium in the 2006/2007 season, but “The Beast”, as he is dubbed, failed
to establish himself in The Premier League and returned to Real Madrid before
being transferred to Roma.
曾在06-07賽季租借至槍手一季的巴普無法用表現替自己在英超建立名號，隨即在賽季
後重返皇馬，然後在本季展轉去了羅馬。
Despite this failure, the powerful forward has praised Wenger for ‘valuing’
him and teaching him a lot.
Baptista came on as a substitute in the Champions League second leg with
Arsenal and converted a spot kick but saw The Gunners go through to the
quarter finals.

When asked who the best manager he has ever worked with is, Baptista told
Roma News without any hesitation: “Wenger.
"He valued me, even thought my time at Arsenal wasn't easy when I joined
them after they lost the Champions League final.
"Their squad was already constituted and they had a compact group.
"Anyway, thanks to hard work I manage to find some space in the team.
"I learnt so many things from Wenger.”
