Allen Iverson 近日上了電視節目 Doug Gottlieb Show，
主持人問起在他職業生涯裡最後悔的事情是什麼，戰神給了這樣的回答:
If you have one regret from your time in NBA, what will it be?
AI : Not one thing. I'm human, I made mistakes. I'm not perfect. God they
made no perfect people in this world. The closest thing that I would say,
to having a regret is not letting Larry Brown coach me. The way I did once
conformed to whatever he was trying to get through to me.
You know when I was fighting with him all the time, and 99.9 percent of
the time it was my fault - just being so young and not knowing.
沒有一件吧。是人都會犯錯，我不完美，這世界沒有完美的人。 唯一一件我可以說
我真的後悔的事情，就是沒能讓 Larry Brown 好好指導我。等我長大了才知道他
曾經想教過我的。每次的爭執都是我錯了，可是當時的我太年輕了，沒能明白什麼。
AI : One thing a lesson was learnt is "You never miss something until it's
gone," And that's when it bothered me the most, because when he was gone,
that's when I realized how much I really missed him and needed him.
而這讓我體會了什麼叫 " 失去了才懂想念". 這深深的困擾著我，當他離開了，
我終於了解我多想念他，多需要他的教導。
AI : But other than that, the whole overall career and everything that I
went through the ups and down I wouln't trade it for the world.
If I died today and came back in the next lifetime, I'd rather be
Allen Iverson.
但除此之外，我整個生涯裡面經歷過的起起伏伏，就算要用整個世界跟我買，
也是不可能的。如果今日我死去，下輩子我還是想當這樣的 Allen Iverson.
AI : I played every single game w/ my heart. I played for my teammates.
Every night, sick, hurt, whatever. Every game like it was my last.
Because you never know when it can be the last. I seeing guys they hurt
andnever be able to play a game. Evrytime I played, I gave everything
I had.

因為你永遠不知道什麼時候會是最後一場球，我看過別的傢伙受傷，再也無法比賽。
每次我上場，我就盡我的全力，這就是我對我的 NBA 生涯下的註解。
