Atlético de Madrid and Torino FC the have reached an agreement for the
transfer of Alessio Cerci to our Club, pending the corresponding medical
examination and the subsequent signing of the player's contract. The Italian
international would committ for the next three seasons.

The 27-year-old Roman player, one of the best assistants of the Serie A, will
wear red and white after developing his entire career in Italy. Cerci is an
international with the azzurra, with which he’s participated in the World
Cup and the Confederations Cup in Brazil.

The striker comes to the team backed by his large numbers with Torino, where
he’s managed 21 goals and 19 assists in the last two seasons.

For José Luis Pérez Caminero, Atlético’s Sporting Manager, it’s a very
important signing. "The agreement reached with Torino for the transfer of
Cerci is a joy for all. It was a clear goal to finish strengthening our
workforce to face all the challenges we have ahead of us this season. We’ve
had to make an important effort after all the operations we did over the
summer, but we’re convinced that it was worth it because we consider him key
to our team. He’ll bring us penetration, speed, goals... It will allow us to
have more alternatives in our offensive game", he said.
