contenders in the Eastern Conference. Fast forward a week and the Sixers are
20-10 and sit in sixth place in the East. The three losses, to the Brooklyn
Nets, Miami Heat and most recently, the Dallas Mavericks have given fans a
cause for concern. However, no one knows the gravity of the situation more
than 76ers head coach Brett Brown.

During the three-game slide, the 76ers have been outscored by an average of
14.3 points per game. To make matters worse, two of the three games (Miami
and Dallas) were at home — where the Sixers were undefeated until this week.

Friday’s loss to the Mavericks may be the most frustrating for the team.

second half 54-41 and allowed Dallas to shoot 42.4 percent from deep.

dominate in the post with 22 points, 18 rebounds and three blocks while
Hardaway Jr. would hit seven of his 11 three-point attempts for 27 points.
