BEIRUT (Lebanon) - Due to the current situation concerning the novel
coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak, the FIBA Regional Office - Asia has taken
the decision to postpone the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers game between China
and Malaysia, which was previously scheduled on 24 February, to another date.

由於新型冠狀病毒(2019-nCoV)的狀況，FIBA亞洲總會決定延遲2021 FIBA亞洲盃男籃資格
賽原定在2月24日進行的中國對上馬來西亞的賽事。

Due to the current #coronavirus outbreak @FIBA Asia has taken the decision to

Feb) to another date.

JPN vs CHN in Chiba will still take place on the 21st!

The new date will be announced later!

The decision is made in line with the advancement of efforts from the World
Health Organization (WHO) as they continue to investigate the global health
emergency of the novel coronavirus, with the safety of all sides involved
from participants to fans taken into consideration as the primary priority.

這項決定是根據世界衛生組織（WHO）的建議而作出的，他們持續調查新型冠狀病毒的
全球衛生緊急情況，並以參賽隊和球迷的各方安全為主要優先考慮因素。


The rescheduled date of the game between China and Malaysia will be announced
later.

The game between China and Japan which will take place in Chiba Port Arena in
Japan on 21 February will continue to be played as originally scheduled.

在2月21日於千葉港體育館進行的中國對上日本的比賽將按照原訂行程進行。


Last week FIBA’s Executive Committee also decided to swap some of the host
teams for the following Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers games

The first game between Hong Kong and Guam will now be played in Guam on
February 20, 2020.

香港和關島之間的首場比賽將在2020年2月20日於關島進行。


The first game between Hong Kong and Australia will now be played in
Australia on February 23, 2020.

香港和澳洲之間的首場比賽將在2020年2月23日於澳洲進行。


FIBA and its Regional Office in Asia will continue to monitor the situation
closely and will not hesitate to implement any further measures or
precautions should they be required.
