故事是從1999年的季後賽開始的

在分區決賽中 John Rocker幫球隊解除滿壘危機後成功把球隊帶進國聯冠軍賽

然後在國聯冠軍賽中，大都會的球迷極盡能事的挑釁Rocker

而戰鬥力十足的John Rocker也直接各種回嗆

然後再加上紐約媒體的推波助瀾

最終是由SI的一篇採訪報導讓整個紐約 甚至整個美國都爆發

他的反擊只是針對大都會球迷對他的人身攻擊而以



但毫無疑問的整件事情差點毀了Rocker的人生

才會有700警力護送他上球場的故事

要知道當時勇士隊上已經有不少黑人球員

要不是三巨頭出來打圓場 可能勇士自己就打起來了
