Rob Hennigan and the Orlando Magic have agreed upon an extension through the
17-18 season.

魔術隊昨天正式宣布與現任總管Rob Hennigan達成續約協議，新的合約將讓雙方合作
到2018年。

Hennigan was hired in 2012 to replace Otis Smith and immediately had to deal
with the Dwight Howard trade.

魔術在2012年聘用Hennigan取代原先的Otis Smith，而他一上任就被迫解決困擾球隊
多時的Dwight Howard交易案。

The Magic have a 68-178 record during Hennigan's three seasons as general
manager.

Hennigan’s recent draft acquisitions — Victor Oladipo in 2013 and Aaron
Gordon and Elfrid Payton last year — have received positive reviews.

魔術在讓Hennigan接棒三個球季以來，累積的勝場數還不到70場，但他這兩年的選秀－
如2013年的Victor Oladipo、去年的Aaron Gordon與Elfrid Payton－都獲得不錯的評
價。

On April 16, Hennigan was asked about a potential extension, and he said, “
What I can tell you is I love working here. It’s a pleasure to work here. It
’s an honor to work for the DeVos family and under [CEO] Alex [Martins’]
leadership, and I’m happy to be here as long as they want to keep me here.”

兩週前，當Hennigan被問到續約的議題時，他的回答是：
「我唯一可以透露給你的，是我很喜歡在這裡工作，因為它不但能帶來喜悅，跟球隊
老闆DeVos家族與CEO Alex Martins合作也是一種榮耀。我願意留在這裡，只要上司
