按照過往經驗，騎士會在開幕戰於主場升起總冠軍旗幟，不過騎士特別讓購買季票的WGU
會員搶先目睹，騎士老闆吉伯特(Dan Gilbert)也在個人推特上放上圖片。

戰的到來，在個人推特上率先秀出騎士的冠軍旗幟。
騎士主場開幕戰將於台灣時間10月26日對上尼克，屆時騎士將會升起總冠軍旗幟，並在比
賽開打前舉行冠軍戒頒獎儀式。
這是騎士隊史首座總冠軍，同時也是克里夫蘭52年以來團隊職業球隊以來的首冠。
