聚家中看轉播加油；陳傑媽媽昨晚沒睡一直在祈禱，但陳傑無緣晉級準決賽，陳傑爸爸表
示，今年水準特別高，小孩子盡力了。
台中出身的陳傑到東京後，每天和家人視訊，分享日本天氣、居住房間的環境。
陳傑上午出戰東奧男子400公尺跨欄預賽，雖跑出50秒96，名列分組第7，無緣晉級準決賽
，但家人手拿應援毛巾，齊聚掛著「陳傑加油」紅布條的客廳，守在電視機前跨海加油。
陳傑爸爸表示，今年水準特別高，「小孩子盡力了，辛苦他了」。陳傑從高中接觸田徑，;
很認真、自我要求高，希望可跟田徑前輩楊傳廣、紀政一樣，設定參加3次奧運，現已達
到，希望陳傑回國後先顧好身體，沉澱心情後再進行下一場賽事，「家人永遠支持你」。
