1. According to Sports Illustrated, when Rondo was born a doctor looked at him
in awe. “His hands are humongous,” the doctor said.

2. Rondo learned to ride a bike without training wheels. According to the
Boston Globe, Rondo told his mother “They’d slow me down,” and he wanted

crashing multiple times he figured it out by the end of the day.

talented basketball player in my entire life,” Smith said.

committed to Kentucky while Telfair chose to declare for the draft out of
high school. Rondo and Telfair eventually played together on the Celtics
for during the 2006-07 season.

brother Will wanted to call him Johnny. They compromised with Rajon.
