。而火箭隊的Ryan Anderson則是選擇完成他的終身大事。

Anderson說到：「我訂婚了。我非常興奮及高興，因為我擁有一位很棒的女孩。」
Anderson利用明星賽週末與女友Kari Klinkenborg去了墨西哥，並在墨西哥的海灘上求婚
成功。

大多數人應該會對這件喜事特別開心。因為Anderson曾在2013年失去當時的未婚妻 Gia
Allemand，Gia長年與憂鬱症搏鬥，但最終還是在2013年8月選擇以自殺告別人世。

在此之後，Anderson成為自殺防治的推廣者。Anderson在2014年的訪談提到：「在NBA，
我得到了一個可以發聲的平台。我知道我退休之後，人們便不會再關注我。但只要我還有
影響力，我認為我就該發聲。人們必須面對自殺防治。與其陷入傷痛之中，我選擇挺身而
出，我並不害怕去分享我生命中最痛苦的經驗。」
