威瑟靠著3名裁判裁定獲勝，台裔NBA球星林書豪也在現場觀賞這場世紀對決，賽後他在自
己的推特上稱讚帕奎奧：「透過這場比賽你必須欽佩他，因為他不止非常謙虛、有品，也
是基督徒之光。」
林書豪和帕奎奧都是虔誠的基督教徒，而且林書豪也不諱言自己是帕奎奧的粉絲。
在這場世紀對決開打前，帕奎奧一直在洛杉磯訓練備戰，林書豪還抽空跑去探班，甚至在
臉書Po出兩人合照，並強調他非常尊敬帕奎奧對信仰的堅貞與熱忱，也很期待帕這場比賽
