英國女皇、殿堂馬主伊利沙伯二世離世 - 馬術 Equestrian

去年入選英國冠軍賽馬殿堂的女皇伊利沙伯二世，於週四下午，在家人的陪伴下，安詳地
離世，享壽96歲。

女皇在雅士谷馬場的代表Sir Francis Brooke Bt.發布如下聲明：

The nation mourns the loss of a much loved and respected Monarch.

The world of racing has lost one of its greatest supporters.

We at Ascot are privileged to have so many memories of Her Majesty The Queen
at this her racecourse,
including some wonderful victories in the Royal colours.

We offer our deepest sympathies to His Majesty The King and the whole Royal
family.

2021年，甫成立的英國冠軍賽馬殿堂，為慶祝女皇的入選，曾製作一支影片，敘明女皇在
賽馬界的成就：

兩屆平地冠軍馬主（1954年、1957年）

五次英國經典賽冠軍

二十四場皇家雅士谷賽期勝場

很可惜的是，今年女皇因健康狀況，首度缺席皇家雅士谷賽期，而她的愛馬，亦未能在本
屆賽期贏取勝仗。

最接近勝仗的兩場比賽，分別是大不列顛錦標的「長篇傳奇」（Saga）及漢普頓宮錦標的
「摘月」（Reach For The Moon），皆由戴圖理策騎，然而各自以馬頭位與一又四分三馬
位憾負。
