IT'S SUNDERLAND OR SAINTS AWAY IN THE CAPITAL ONE CUP

Following the defeat of Arsenal, we have been drawn away to either
Sunderland or Southampton in the Capital One Cup quarter-final. Those two
teams face off at the Stadium of Light on November 6.
Our tie with the victors of that game is due to be played in the week
commencing 16 December. Full ticket and date details will be announced in
due course.
We haven't faced Sunderland in this competition since the 1985 semi-final,
when we lost both legs. Those are our only previous meetings in the League
Cup. We last met Southampton in the competition in November 1997 on our
way to lifting the trophy, beating the Saints 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
The rest of the quarter-final draw is:
Leicester v Manchester City
Stoke v Manchester United
Tottenham v West Ham United
