統一7-ELEVEn獅隊24日在保留比賽以3比2險勝中信兄弟，奪得下半季冠軍，統一將與中信
展開7戰4勝制總冠軍戰，樂天桃猿4連霸夢碎。
原先樂天期待今天中信兄弟能夠擊敗統一7-ELEVEn獅隊，但今天統一與中信之戰，比賽從
第3局繼續進行，當時比數1比1，統一在第6局靠著單場連續敲出4支安打，一舉攻下2分，
雖然中信第8局追回1分，但最後仍以1分不敵統一，統一以下半季戰績32勝27敗1和封王，
勝率0.542。
統一拿到下半季冠軍，10月31日起與中信兄弟展開7戰4勝制總冠軍戰，樂天桃猿確定無法
完成4連霸空前紀錄，樂天本季全年戰績59勝61敗，勝率0.492，勝率排名第二。
