You don't think about it too much, but it's funny how baseball dugouts and bul
lpens still communicate via telephone. Why not cell phones? Why not texts? Why
not drones?

Well, during the Red Sox's 3-1 loss to the Phillies on Tuesday night, Boston's
landlines stopped working. Manager Alex Cora could NOT communicate with his b
ullpen coach to get the correct reliever warming up. Phones, hand signals, sun
flower-seed throws ... nothing.

Yes, good.

Finally, after using walkie-talkies and what looked like Bullpen Cop's iPhone,
the Sox solved the issue and got the right pitcher warmed up. Someone should'
ve brought in David Ortiz to fix things.
