Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce Academy midfielder Charlie
Colkett has signed a new three-year contract.


Colkett, 19, captained our Academy to UEFA Youth League success against
Paris Saint-Germain on Monday, his second win at that level having also
lifted the FA Youth Cup twice.


The England Under-20 international joined the Blues as an Under-11, and
was recently called up to a senior matchday squad for the first time when
he was an unused sub against Swansea on 9 April.


Colkett said: 'It's a very proud day for me and my family to sign again
for Chelsea. It's been great since I've been here and hopefully I can
continue to kick on and achieve even more.'
