The quality of any new signing is more important than their Champions League
eligibility, according to Arsène Wenger.

教授認為挑選新援的重點在於球員的素質，即使已經失去歐戰資格。

The Arsenal manager is optimistic about adding to his squad in January.
However, one of the main problems of buying in the mid-season break is that
most of your potential targets will be cup-tied in Europe’s top competition.

教授對於在一月補強陣容感到樂觀，不過在一月引援有個風險，就是我們的目標可能已經
因為Cup-tied無法在歐洲賽場亮相。

Ideally, Wenger wants any acquisition available in all competitions but it is
not a deal-breaker.

理想的狀況下，教授希望引進的人員都能在各項賽事中出賽，但目前這點不會成為引援的
絆腳石。

"I would like to think longer term,” said the Frenchman. “If the right
player comes in, even if he is not available for the Champions League, his
class is more important for me.”

"我會站在在球隊長遠的角度思考。" 教授說道。"我們需要適合球隊的真正人選，即使
不能在歐冠出賽，他的級別對我來說更佳重要。"

Top class at that. Speaking after the win over Plymouth, he re-iterated once
more that all of his targets must be significantly better than the young
talent he already has at his disposal.

"That’s a problem,” he said. “At the moment I feel that if we do add
somebody, we need to add somebody who has a special class because we have
good players.

效用的人選"

"[For example] take a player like Ramsey. They show that they grow. Of
course they still show lapses, a lack of experience, but they have quality
and they can grow quickly.”

"例如引進一名像Ramsey一樣的球員，他們向人們展示出了自己的成長，雖然他們仍然犯
錯誤、缺少經驗，但他們卻是真正有水平的球員，並且能夠成長的很快。」
