前切爾西前鋒登巴˙巴在五年前對陣利物浦時打進一粒進球，也正是這粒進球讓
利物浦錯失了當年的英超冠軍。但登巴˙巴表示他並不同情傑拉德五年前那次滑倒。

登巴˙巴在接受《太陽報》採訪時表示：“我不是傑拉德的球迷，不是利物浦的
球迷。我也不是曼城的球迷，不管他們中誰能奪得英超冠軍我都沒什麼可高興的。那
只是比賽的一部分。這就像上賽季，水晶宮在已經保級成功的情況下，擊敗了斯托克

For Ba, 33, his goal against Paris Saint-Germain just over a fortnight
before that Anfield clash holds more significance, as it capped a
memorable comeback after losing 3-1 in France.


He said: “When you talk about the one I scored against Paris, it's great
because it was the goal that took us to the semi-finals of the Champions
League. It is something that is great and more memorable to me.


“But that goal at Anfield hasn't brought anything to us apart from to
beat Liverpool away. It didn't get us to another stage, it didn't make us
win the league or whatever. It's like any other normal goal I would have
scored.”


That goal against PSG played a huge part in the build-up to Chelsea's trip
to Merseyside.


The game was sandwiched by Champions League semi-finals against Atletico
Madrid and Mourinho was angry TV broadcasters would not move the Prem
clash from Sunday to give his team more time to prepare for the second
leg.


Chelsea were out of the title race after a shock home loss to Sunderland
but Mourinho took a dim view of the coverage around Liverpool's title bid,
saying: “They want us to be the clowns in the circus. The circus is here.
Liverpool are to be champions.”

behind. The striker had seen Didier Drogba do the same four years earlier
when Gerro gifted him a goal with a backpass. And now it was his turn.


Ba said: “That is what a striker does. Like 90 per cent of other
strikers, we are not built for defending and we're not good at it. We can
cheat a little bit. We are pressing but we are not really pressing the way
that defenders are pressing.


“If a defender has the ball and turns, we start pressing the goalkeeper
before he passes back because if they make a mistake, it is a chance. We
always gamble and I was there at the right time. I gambled a little bit.”


There was still work to do as Ba raced away from Liverpool's defence and,
through on goal, had keeper Simon Mignolet to beat.


Ba said: “Coming from the middle of the goal, I had no angle. I managed
to go between the goalkeeper's legs because the angle was so tight. It
worked out.”


As Ba knelt and kissed the grass, Gerrard picked up the ball to try to
revive Liverpool's title hopes.


Did it mean much to the goalscorer? Ba said: “Not really. For them,
obviously it was. But not for us. If they won that game they would have
won the league.”


A second from Willian sealed Chelsea's 2-0 victory, then Crystal Palace's
draw in the Reds' next game all but ended their title dream.


Lunch is almost over for Ba. At Basaksehir his team-mates are
ex-Manchester City star Robinho, old Arsenal favourite Emmanuel Adebayor
and former Newcastle midfielder Emre Belozoglu.


His arrival from China this year caused an internet stir when he posed in
an owl mask — the emblem of his new club.

近日，前紅軍隊長傑拉德在天空體育的一檔節目中談到五年前在對陣切爾西比賽
中的那次滑倒，他坦言：也許在外界看來，那只是一次滑倒，但對他來說，卻不僅僅
是一次滑倒。

傑拉德在兩年前曾親承，那必將是他人生中最困難的一天。他說道：“那會是我
人生中最困難的一天，至少到現在為止仍然是。因為很難把它抹去。那是一段極其艱
難的日子。”


“直到今天，是的，它仍然縈繞在我心頭，讓我心痛。我是那種會愈挫愈勇的人
所以只要我還活著，還沒有離開足球，我就不會放棄彌補的努力。把那天發生的一切
歸結於運氣，這是讓我一直無法釋懷的。”


可以看出，無論如何，傑拉德都意識到了那次事件的影響。在傑拉德自傳《我的
故事》中，他曾這樣描述那天賽後自己的心路歷程：


"我坐在球隊大巴的後排，眼淚不停地順著我的臉頰流下。說實話，我已經好多
年沒有這樣哭過了，但是在我回家的路上，我無法控制自己的淚水，眼淚不停地流下
來。我甚至都看不清楚窗外街道上的一切，到底是人來人往還是空無一人，這次滑倒
也許真的擊倒了我。"


"還是那種感覺，我整個人都麻木了，那種感覺，就彷彿我失去了自己的至親。

著這次的滑倒而離去。我甚至都沒有意識想要去擦乾自己眼角的淚水，因為我的腦海
裡一遍又一遍地在重複那個下午場比賽的每一幀畫面。"


"那是2014年4月27日，一個平常而又特殊的日子，平常是因為那似乎就是普通
的一場英超聯賽，特殊的是再取得一場勝利，球隊獲得1990年5月之後的第一個英格
蘭頂級聯賽冠軍。"


"但是，在面對莫里尼奧率領切爾西，也許是我們爭冠路上最強大的的對手時，
我在上半場最後時刻犯錯了。在中圈附近，隊友傳給我一個普通的傳球，這一時刻我
心中沒有什麼波瀾，僅僅是懷著對英超冠軍的憧憬。我步子邁開去接球，之後我摔倒
了。球從我的腳邊離開，切爾西開始了反擊，我努力站起來，拚命地去追登巴˙巴，
彷彿那就是我的整個生命一樣。"


"最終，他得分了，一切都結束了。很長一段時間以來，我渴望與利物浦獲得英
超冠軍，我現在無法再控制自己的情感了。回家時坐在車裡的那種孤獨感，我永遠也
忘不了。"


有趣的是，在傑拉德為利物浦效力的最後一場比賽中，也就是2015年5月在斯坦
福橋的比賽中，當傑拉德離開球場時，切爾西球迷為他送上了掌聲，但這位中場球員
再次表達了自己的觀點，他表示：“也許我更高興的是利物浦球迷的熱烈掌聲，雖然
無法否認，切爾西球迷對我表現出了尊重，但那天的一切讓我難以忘記，所以我不會
被斯坦福橋的掌聲所吸引。”
