Bouchard今年已經拿了雪梨,多倫多跟New Haven三張會內賽的外卡
根據WTA的規則

"the maximum number of Wild Cards a player may receive into singles Premier
and International Tournaments and Grand Slams during a Tour Year is six (6),
with a maximum of three (3) allowed in the Main Draw."

球員一年最多只能拿六張外卡
而會內賽外卡最多只能拿三張

結果本周的北京賽又發給她會內賽外卡
所以這已經是她今年的第四張
為什麼她可以拿四張會內賽外卡?

今年才23歲的油雞 在WTA已經有十年參賽資歷了

"… from 2008-10, aged 14-16, she received a wild card into the Rogers Cup
qualifying each year. And lost her first-round matches.

But those three matches were enough to count as three years’ service."

原來從2008-10年 油雞14-16歲的時候
加拿大的Rogers Cup曾經連續三年發給她資格賽外卡
雖然每次都是一輪遊 但這樣也算三年經歷...


而根據規則

"Players who have competed in WTA Tournaments for 10 Tour Years or more (not
necessarily consecutively) will be allowed three (3) additional Wild Cards,
either in Main Draw or in Qualifying, in both singles and doubles at WTA
Tournaments (including Premier, International, and 125K Series)."

如果球員已經在WTA參賽十年以上 且這十年間不用持續參賽
就可以額外再拿到三張外卡 (不管會內外賽或單雙打皆可)
