Auckland chief executive Regan Wood said the decision to work with Sky Sport
was the first and only priority for the franchise when they started thinking
about a broadcast partner.

“If you want to be serious about broadcasting sport in New Zealand then Sky
Sport is the place to be,” Wood told AucklandTuatara.com.

“They have been very supportive of what we are trying to do and we are
delighted to be working with them this summer.

“Kiwi baseball fans will get to watch all home games and as many games out
of Australia that are available to Sky Sport and that will have a big impact
on the sport overall.

Broadcaster Mark Watson will serve as play-by-play commentator while former
big leaguer and Tuatara pitcher Josh Collmenter will split duties with New
Zealand-based former pros Scott Campbell and Randy Yard for expert comments.

Auckland will play five four-game home series in its first season at North
Harbour Stadium in Albany.

The Tuatara face Perth in their historic home opener at North Harbour Stadium
tomorrow night from 7 NZDT.

Earlier this week, the ABL announced the 10 Thursday night games to be shown
exclusively on Kayo Sports in Australia.

Additional games will be available at theabl.com.au/videos with broadcast
details to be posted ahead of each round.
