當下轉播拍到肯特進休息區後仍在碎念，也有媒體報導肯特和富邦悍將隊長范國宸起口角。今天賽前，范國宸澄清兩人並未有爭執，他苦笑說：「我英文又不好，要怎麼跟他起口角？」
范國宸說，當下他看到肯特情緒仍未平復，只是上前簡單用英文跟他說聲「stop」，要他別再多說，當下兩人就沒有爭執，事後兩人互動溝通也沒問題。至於昨失誤的隊友葉子霆，范國宸說：「也不用特別多說，大家都會去關心他。過了就過了，接下來還有比賽，又是新的一天。」
