2月26日，湖人球員Nick Young在接受採訪時透露他離開nike，簽約adidas的原因。
從大學開始，Young就一直穿著nike打比賽，不過在去年12月初他與adidas簽下了
一份球鞋合約。
“nike真正上只有三名球星，kobe、kd還有lbj，”Young說道，
“我喜歡adidas讓所有人都參與到他們的球鞋廣告中的概念，Adidas前進的方式
和他們引起的反響來看，我就上了他們的船了。”
此外，Young還透露對於簽約adidas，說唱歌手Kanye West給了他很大的影響。
在當地時間1月1日湖人對陣76人的上半場，楊甚至穿著West設計的椰子鞋比賽。
“那幫了adidas一萬億倍，”Young說道，
“另外當然我還向他們要了整套West的收藏品，讓他們把所有的都給我。”
本賽季至今，Young場均上場18.9分鐘，得到7.4分1.7籃板。
