西區決賽即將在17日上午9點於甲骨文球場開打，就在此刻勇士傳來好消息，
那就是史提芬柯瑞已經卸下護膝，以百分百的狀態迎戰來犯的雷霆大軍。
根據《聖荷西水星報》指出，柯瑞在季後賽首輪與火箭對戰時扭傷右腳膝蓋，
休息了4場比賽之後歸隊，但是否痊癒備受關注，
但在16日的球隊練習時柯瑞已脫掉護膝，看起來傷勢已無大礙。
柯瑞受訪時表示，「儘管偶爾還會疼痛，但傷處不會影響跑動了，所以今後不會再談論它
，而且我會持續出賽到球季結束。」
勇士在例行賽橫掃雷霆，其中在2月的一場對戰中柯瑞投進半場特大號絕殺三分球，
