The Red Sox are hopeful that Daisuke Matsuzaka (elbow) will be able to make
his next start.

Matsuzaka was pulled from Friday's start against the Mariners in the top of
the fifth inning. Red Sox manager Terry Francona said Dice-K "felt stiff" and
"didn't put up a fight" before leaving the game. If his symptoms don't
improve over the next couple of days, the Red Sox will likely turn to Tim
Wakefield or Alfredo Aceves.
