Chris Bosh目前面臨血栓與邁阿密熱火的逼退壓力，依然希望努力重返NBA，12日他表示
，他只是想留給孩子一個好榜樣。
Bosh育有5子，「我希望我的孩子們知道，他們的老爸是一個鬥士，他不會輕易說放棄的
。」
連續兩季都因血栓問題提前報銷的Bosh，還剩下3年總價逼近7600萬美元的高額合約，他
澄清自己不是為了錢才不想接受買斷。
「我想告訴那些認為我只是為了錢就說風涼話的人，我懂，我完全能理解。」Bosh說：「
但我真的沒有考慮錢的問題，我只在乎我的心，我愛NBA，我熱愛每天為了生活打籃球的
感覺。」
Bosh擁有兩枚冠軍戒，11度入選明星賽，生涯光是在NBA累積的薪資就超過1.6億美元，或
許外人會認為他已經不需要賣命，但年僅32歲的他，只想證明他不是個「逃兵」。
「我當然可以離開，從此消失在你們生命中。」Bosh說：「但我知道我的心在哪裡，如果
我就這麼輕易離去，我會覺得自己就是個容易放棄的人。」
Bosh上季出賽53場，繳出19.1分、7.4籃板。
