德約前教練鳴不平批美網：線審戲精演戲!費德勒若犯錯就沒事

德約擊傷線審被取消資格，儘管德約發聲明道歉，願意接受處罰決定，但塞爾維亞方面為
德約鳴不平，無論是德約前教練還是學者都認為，如果是費德勒做了同樣的事情，就不會
被取消資格，德約總是被特別對待。

德約被取消資格，這對於網壇人士都是一個令人震驚的事件，誰也沒有想到，德約空手而
歸，更沒有預料大以如此奇怪方式出局，而對於德約受到如此嚴厲處罰，塞爾維亞球迷和
專家都認為處罰過重，德約不應該被直接判負。

尼古拉-比利奇Nikola Pilic是德約的啓蒙教練，他就提出自己的質疑：「你認為費德勒
會因為做了同樣的事情被淘汰嗎？不可能，這個處罰決定是帶有傾向性的。」

實際上，大多數塞爾維亞球迷認為費德勒永遠不會被這樣判罰，而德約前教練比利奇也持

塞爾維亞學者馬蒂亞-貝克科維奇同樣指責美網官方玩雙標，「我不相信在同樣情況下，

這位學者表示，德約沒有抗議美網官方的決定值得有掌聲，當被問道德約在美網的出局是
否成為塞爾維亞國家的一場悲劇，他說道：「網球並不是我們的國民運動，但我相信我們
的諾瓦克會愈挫愈勇，會變得更加強大。」

Novak Djokovic’s disqualification from the ongoing US Open came as a massive
shock for everyone in the tennis fraternity. Needless to say, nobody expected
the Serb to be eliminated from the tournament empty-handed, let alone in such
a bizarre fashion.

What was more shocking to some people was the severity of the punishment meted
out to Novak Djokovic. They believe his mistake didn’t warrant a total disqu
alification from the tournament.

In fact, many of Djokovic's fans have questioned whether the same punishment w
ould have been given to someone like Roger Federer, who has had his fair share
of on-court misdemeanors in the past.


Perhaps the highest-profile name to place Roger Federer under such scrutiny is
one of Novak Djokovic’s first tennis coaches, Nikola Pilic. The Croat recent
ly spoke to b92.net and said he believed the USO officials were biased in thei
r decision-making.

Pilic even went on to say that the same decision would not have been taken in
the case of Roger Federer.

A World No. 1 getting disqualified from a Grand Slam is no daily occurrence. A
ny such decision requires the sharpest of minds, who can handle a tough situat
ion with quickness and composure.

The same happened in the case of Novak Djokovic as he was dismissed from the c
ourt and the tournament within minutes of his wrongdoing. But the furor among
his ardent supporters - popularly called ‘Nolefam’ - has threatened to bubbl
e over in the days since; they wholeheartedly believe the decision was unfair.

But on the other hand, most former as well as current players went by the rule
-book and stated that the punishment was indeed justifiable.

As you'd expect, Roger Federer's name has kept finding its way into the conver
sations around Djokovic's disqualification. Most of the Serb's fans are arguin
g that the Swiss would never be at the receiving end of such a decision, and h
ave even cited Federer’s past misdemeanors of a similar nature to prove their
point.


Novak Djokovic’s former coach Nikola Pilic too has joined the club by questio
ning the supposedly preferential treatment received by Roger Federer. The Croa
t believes that his former protege was wrongly disqualified, and that he shoul
d have been penalized by a game at the very most.

“In my opinion, Djokovic accidentally hit the referee ball," Pilic said. "I t
hink he should have been punished with a confiscated game. It is not right to
disqualify the first in the world because of this."


Pilic wasn't convinced by the lineswoman's injury either, and he accused her o
f 'acting'. The Croat further went on to state that there was ‘no chance’ Ro
ger Federer would have met a similar fate as Novak Djokovic, if he was under s
imilar circumstances.

"I believe that the judge also acted a little, I don't think she was so hurt,"
Pilic added. "Do you think Federer would be kicked out for something like thi
s? No chance. This decision is tendentious."
