Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard talked about why he’s never
wanted to leave the club and form a “super team” somewhere else.

Damian Lillard is very comfortable with the Blazers and believes he can win a
championship in Portland.

It doesn’t look like Lillard is ever going to request a trade from the
Blazers, so the only way he doesn’t finish his NBA career in Portland is if
the franchise makes a colossal mistake and trades the star guard out of Weber
State.

The Blazers don’t get big-time free agents in free agency. In Lillard, they
have a bonafide top-10 player and maybe the second-best point guard in the
game behind only two-time MVP Stephen Curry. Ownership should count its
blessings every day that Lillard fell into their laps in 2012.
