World no. 4 Dominic Thiem was left fuming when his post-match press conference
after a third-round win at the French Open was interrupted by tournament offi
cials asking him to make way for Serena Williams.

Thiem was in the main press conference room, which has the most room for media
, and was in the midst of answering questions in German about his four-set win
over Pablo Cuevas when he was asked to vacate the room and move to the smalle
r interview room 2, so that Serena Williams could hold her press conference.

Williams had just lost 2-6, 5-7 to Sofia Kenin.
