Arte Moreno could have set a record for an MLB team sale.

The owner of the Los Angeles Angels told Sports Illustrated that he had three of
fers on the table “considerably above the Mets’ number.” Steve Cohen bought t
he New York Mets for a record $2.4 billion in 2020

天使老闆接受訪問說到

有三組買家有正式開價要買天使

且金額都比當初Steve Cohen買梅子的價格高

註：Steve Cohen當初花24億鎂買下梅子


Moreno noted that all three offers were at least $200 million above what Cohen p
aid. Moreno also said that he had a fourth inquiry from Japan that didn’t resul
t in a bid.

這三張報價都至少比梅子高2億美金以上

即報價都超過26億美金

然後日本買家最終沒有參與競標



Moreno said he was planning to hold onto a 5-10% stake in the team. In the end,
he couldn’t part with any of it: “In my heart, I just couldn’t go through wit
h it.”

當初原本計畫最後他會只剩5-10%的股份

但最後心裡過不去

就不賣惹XD
